Zingiber spectabile ‘Malay Madu’

Malay Madu translates to Malaysian Honey—a fitting name for this unique beehive ginger with warm, honey-colored bracts. Unlike many other Zingiber spectabile varieties, Malay Madu not only stands out for its distinctive color but also for its ability to tolerate more sunlight.

 

It produces medium-sized blooms—larger than 'Early Gold', yet slimmer and than 'Chocolate Ball'. Ideal for cut flower production, this variety also performs beautifully in the landscape or garden, bringing a rich tropical glow wherever it’s planted.
