Heliconia penduloides 'Carla Black'

Heliconia 'Carla Black' is our newest offering! This variety differs from 'Perfect Darling' with salmon pink bracts that yellow near the tips  and yellow rachis that darken to pink with maturity. 'Carla Black' also has a moderate white waxy coating that blankets the stems, undersides of leaf blades, and inflorescence. Named after the famed plant collector and Heliconia Society International president, Carla Black. Limited supply.
