Heliconia vellerigera hyb. 'Queen Bee'
'Queen Bee' is the rarest Heliconia in our collection and one of the last Heliconia varieties collected and named by the late Mark Collins. Believed to be a vellerigera hybrid, 'Queen Bee' has red bracts, golden margins, along with pubescent yellow sepals. With only a few rhizomes available for sale you can be one of the first to have this unusual new Heliconia in your collection.
