An evolutionary step in between H. rostrata and H. standleyii, this undescribed species was collected by seeds from Steve and Marjorie Sarner in Peru. The seeds were given to Carla Black in Panama and then passed along to us to grow in Hawaii. You could be the next in this line of line of succession as we only have one rhizome available.
